President and Legal Nurse Consultant

Jaime is the President and Senior Expert with Verger Group. She is a Registered Nurse and legal nurse consultant with more than 20 years in the healthcare industry. Jaime has provided knowledge and expert opinion to legal teams representing both plaintiffs and defendants, especially in nursing home malpractice cases, for over a decade. She has assisted directly in depositions and informed attorneys of proper medical practice and policy to help strengthen their cases.
A thought leader in the industry and a frequent speaker at healthcare conferences, Jaime is known for her excellent problem-solving and her record of implementing innovative solutions that remove formidable barriers to effective care. She has served on numerous committees to improve proactive and preventative clinical programs in long-term care settings and to modernize facility functions — including strategic IT planning to digitize records across large groups of care homes.

Jaime’s knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly nursing home operation, is comprehensive. In addition to direct, in-person care and consultation with legal professionals, her experience includes:

As President and Senior Expert for Verger Group, in addition to consulting and managing general operations, Jaime leads teams of specialists who provide guidance, training, and assistance to improve care quality continuously.
Jaime has a Master of Science in Nursing—Executive Leadership from Kaplan University. Regardless of the duties and responsibilities she takes on, she remains passionate about educating anyone who works within the healthcare industry and continues to train and mentor the next generation of care providers and nurse consultants.
